Hack The NU
HACK The NU is a 36 hour weekend event that brings creative minds from various backgrounds together to solve a common problem. The Hack The NU concept was created by a partnership with NUVO Network and students of Sheridan college to be run as a signature event out of NUVO’s event spaces. Participants work in teams to create solutions to problems that local business partners are experiencing or looking to solve.
Send in the Provokers
This project has been AMAZING BALLS to work on. The Provokers have not had an opportunity to work on Hackathons prior to this one. Best part was being on the ground level of creating all creative pieces! We were able to participate in the Sheridan college presentation, your Provokers were covering it for NUVO Network. Moving forward in 2019, we designed a website landing page that was located on the NUVO website, created an amazing logo, posters, t-shirts and stickers. The next phase in it, we covered the event from beginning to end via live streaming, we were able to take lots of pictures and have an incredible amount of fun doing it! Please note just because we are working does not mean in no way we cannot have FUN!
This project has allowed us to work closely with the NUVO Network team and create something special. In 2020, the event was moved to an online event due to the COVID pandemic and Provoke was a marketing partner and sponsor of the event. The event shifted to online has allowed us to focus on fine tune graphic designs created for the first hackathon and work with the other sponsors to create a virtual event. Great ongoing project that your Provokers absolutely LOVE being a part of now and the future!
